Lower Quarry Farm is just two miles from Ravenscar in the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park . Staintondale is a small hamlet of farms and cottages situated midway between Whitby and Scarborough and approximately 15 minutes from Robin Hoods Bay .

The farm is family run and offers comfortable, value for money, bed and breakfast accommodation. We have two double rooms and a twin room (not en-suite).

All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities.

A hearty 4 course English breakfast is served at a time to suit you.

We welcome guests to our informal friendly home, were you can relax in our large and comfortable lounge any time of the day or join in the hustle and bustle around the kitchen table.

This is an ideal base to explore and enjoy the heritage coastline whilst relaxing in the peace and tranquillity of the countryside.

 RAVENSCAR - Did you know this is "The Town That Never Was"? Perched high on the cliff with breathtaking views towards Robin Hoods Bay to the north and Flamborough Head to the south. Now only a small scattered village but it was once intended to be bigger and better than Scarborough .

 WALKING - The area is littered with footpaths and bridleways. The old Whitby to Scarborough railway, which is now a popular footpath and cycle way, is assessable from the farmyard. It offers nearly 22 miles of the most scenic routes in the country. The Cleveland Way , a walk along the cliff top, passes by the farm on the cliff top.

     Dogs are welcome but as they may disturb other guests I do not allow them in the house. We have plenty of kennel space or they can sleep in your car.
